Black Lives Matter
The Peterborough Unitarian Universalist Congregation supports the Black Lives Matter movement, which is a call to action and a response to the virulent anti-Black racism that perpetuates our society. The Black Lives Matter movement was created in 2012 after George Zimmerman was acquitted for the murder of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. We witness by displaying a Black Lives Matter banner on the front of our highly visible, downtown Peterborough building.
