Waking Finnegan Returns to Peterborough

Muusic 4UU presents:

Waking Finnegan, New Hampshire’s own Celtic rock band, on Saturday, November 15 at 4:00 PM in The Sanctuary, 25 Main Street,  Peterborough UU.

Waking Finnegan was founded by violinist Corey Waldron, who emigrated from Canada to the USA in 2013, putting down roots in Southern New Hampshire. A virtuoso violinist with an impeccable classical pedigree, Corey has received international acclaim as a fiddle player extraordinaire. Joining Corey are local favorites Eve Pierce on vocals, eclectic multi-instrumentalist Matt LaCroix on tin whistle and mandolin, among other instruments, and guitarist Will Brewer, who fell in love with Celtic music at his grandmother’s knee. Peterborough native Patrick LaCroix is on bass, and New Hampshire native Andrew Adams lays it all down on drums and percussion.

Waking Finnegan's fresh take on Celtic rock combines the edge and drive of electric guitar with the soul and depth of the upright bass, topped with haunting accordion, fiery fiddle, and powerful vocals tied together with rockin’ drums designed to get you out of your seat.

Come hear old favorites done in an exciting new way! From fast and furious fiddle tunes to penny whistling that will make your head spin and powerful theatrical vocals, Waking Finnegan is guaranteed to entertain young and old alike.

The Muusic 4UU (Music for You!) concert series is the realization of a dream shared by a group of music lovers at the historic Peterborough Unitarian Universalist Sanctuary. We are dedicated to showcasing top talent of the Monadnock Region.
